Where Does Your Tourist Levy Money Go?

Enacted under Bali Provincial Regulation No. 2/2024, the IDR 150,000 levy is a dedicated conservation fund. Unlike generic national taxes, 100% of these revenues are legally earmarked for preserving Balinese cultural heritage (subsidizing traditional temple maintenance and artisanal arts) and financing critical island environmental infrastructure (cleaning rivers and installing waste processing facilities).
